Artificial ambience

This is pretty weak. Had a enjoyable time with sisters in kitchen - ting was making marshmallow rich hot chocolate (not milo), xuan was cooking straight cut fries, and I was messing around with stuffed yellow pepper and steaks! Used deepfried parsnip as a side dish for the steak, it was great. Found a new favourite vegetable! Sometime this week I'll stir fry zucchini, yellow summer squash and button shrooms with crisp bacon on top, should be pretty good.

Right now it's artificial ambience. Passed by the row of pubs on my way to groceries, and had this terrible yearning for a bit of nightlife. It would be unbelievably daft to drink alone, so I gave it a pass and had with this REALLY good brainwave! Decided to have drinks at home instead!

Turned my nightlamp upwards to create ceiling ambience light, turned on the Smooth Jazz channel on ShoutCast at full blast, with dry gin and dry ginger ale, steak with parsnip and upcoming stuffed peppers. Things simply can't get any better - unless, of course, I decide to stick the beer in the fridge. Pity it's not Kilkenny or at least Boddington's though - shall have to settle for Carls. Going to light up some fancy incense and tah da .. room's gonna be as good as any blues pub!

*NEWS FLASH* Stuffed pepper was a star hit with sisters and mariah!!! Xuan, who never touches peppers, begged me to cook 6 whole ones next time! Wei was mumbling and mmmmm'ing all the while trying to eat as much as she could get. Ting loved it too, kept wanting more. Hahahahah ... ok, I'm feeling really good now, I love it when people like the stuff. Must make it a point to let Gisselle know that her recipe works great!
