Just back from skating - weather's horrible. Wet floor, leaves and casuarina cones constantly trying to sabotage my bearings. Well I think the water's ruined them. Will have to take them out for degreasing tomorrow.

Parents out for dancing. Can't help but feel a little envious ... it's like they have a consistant gang of friends to hang out with. And of course, it's apt for them to frequent such places as they do. And those places do play cha chas and salsas and rhumbas ... so far only Henry's at boat quay plays good swing music that's danceable.

Thinking of visiting yet another garden centre tomorrow, but this time of a different nature. It's the place that specialises in true non-commercial species, going to see if I can spruce up the garden further.

Water heater has broken down, so I shall have to brave the cold water soon. Maybe not. Shall boil some water ...
