Something significantly odd happened to me just a moment ago, so I thought I'd write it down lest it never comes back.
I actually got paternal.
Or, as Aaron would have put it, "broody".
It stemmed from me visiting the website of a pair of Lindy Hoppers in Boston, I've been a major fan of their online dance videos and went back to browse for more when I decided, in a whim, to visit the blog they set up for their 1-year-old baby.
So, I read from the beginning till the end, it was written in a pseudo-first person perspective (obviously the baby can't write). And I started looking at pictures, first of the mummy doing some stunning (and gutsy) aerials even when she was so obviously gravid. Then I looked at this pic where the daddy was sleeping with baby, and awwww ...
I wanted that.
This was the very picture that sparked this oddness in me:

I'm trying to brush this off by saying that I guess I'm in the correct biological age for babies of my own, but due to certain circumstances and social norms, that doesn't really happen. Of course, there's this thing about me constantly proclaiming that I hate children. Read - I hate *children*, not babies. OK, forget it ... actually honestly - I just like the feeling of being a daddy, that's all.
Fack, now I REALLY hope none of my friends actually see this entry. Depending on which side of me they know, it'll still be ridiculous.
"YOU?? BABY?? Hey, are you ok?" - yx's probable reaction (I've been having serious discussions about puppies with her - apparently the idea of having a bitch's womb inside didn't really appeal)
"Yes, you definitely are starting to get broody" - Aaron's probable reaction
"Erm Wenky? Baby - are you quite mad?" - Delice's probable reaction, or any of my CG mates for that matter
"Yah! It's about time you and your wife start having children ..." - Ken's probable reaction.
"............ (speechless)" - parents' probable reaction
"Hahahahaha!!1 They will be as weird as you!!!" - sisters' probable reaction
"Wah lau, you f*er, so fast want to have babies. You're kidding right?" - Nik's probable reaction
Well, now that I think about it, I've got a big baby on my hands to take care of. Much easier to appease, doesn't poop everywhere, every ounce just as cute and even more.
