The birthday episode

Had a really nice birthday! Somehow my groupmates managed to sneak the gigantic "The Complete Garden Flower Book" into my bag. Gosh, I'll probably spend the next few months trying to read it. Hahaha ... never expected to get that book in the end, and as a gift too!

Sisters overestimated my physique - they were really lovely, bought a cool-looking grey and black shirt for me to skate in. Oooh, I really must give credit to them. They do know what sort of colours I like! However, it's spandex material. And it's not oversized. So. Alas ... I shall try it out - LATER - when my food has been digested. Went to Minoru for a jap meal. Really nice, but I'd rather my parents saved the $ and got me a nice fish instead. Hahaha .. ok, shan't look a gift horse in the mouth, I really appreciated it.

It's strange, but birthdays don't seem so magical anymore. It's the ageing, I'm sure of it. Time for some rest tonight. Shall blog about a groupmate's maladies later. Extremely exciting; I'm going with him to see the hospital ENT clinic tomorrow, hopefully I can get to see him scoped! Bringing my labcoat along, in case I shall have to go into the endoscopy or flouroscopy room as a medical student in order to videotape him gag on the contrast media and the scope.
